MOISHE'S SIP
Herzog Clarksburg Pinot Noir
I WILL BRING YOU OUT
By far one of our favorite wines for the price—everything you’d expect from the Pinot Noir variety, plus Herzog’s Cali DNA and seal of quality. Honestly, we often prefer this bottle to their super-premium Chalk Hill Pinot…
The Herzog Special Reserve Clarksburg Pinot Noir is such a joy in the glass, a conversation with lots to say. So while you ponder these four questions, be sure to pay attention for the wine’s answers through intoxicating aromas, delectable flavors and overall high standards!
What is the depth of its ruby red?
What of earth and fruit fill my nose?
How does the palate’s structure balance against its fruit?
What does this wine evoke?
A perfect wine to set the vibe for the next three cups.
Pair with roasted meats, mature cheeses and tomato-based pastas. Cellar (only under good conditions!) for up to 5-7 years.
Chateau Teyssier Saint-Émilion Grand Cru
I WILL DELIVER YOU
Not going to lie, every time we drink this, we’re surprised…This cup is going to get you there, a wine that elevates, a wine that welcomes all to the table. Expect notes of black plums, dark cherries, and baking spices with that unforgettable touch of Bordeaux. Bordeaux is earthy, not the fruit-driven Americas, but subtle spices and flair.
A wine that will deliver, gonna get you out there… we’re getting serious.
Four questions to ask throughout your experience:
What do its legs tell us about viscosity, about body?
What is the ripeness level of fruit on the nose?
How do the concentration and high alcohol tango with acidity on the tongue?
What other liquid reminds you of so many other things?
Chateau Schechtman
I WILL REDEEM YOU
Time is on this wine’s side! It’s been a while since we’ve opened up this Dry Creek Valley beauty, and we were really impressed with how it’s aging!
The wine is elegant with rich dark fruit and well-integrated oak. The acid remains firm, creating a structure that will stand up well against hearty winter favorites such as beef stew.
Created together with Herzog, Chateau Schechtman is yet another example of the greatness that comes from Moishe and Joseph Herzog playing in the cellar. If you’ve never visited their cellar and restaurant in Oxnard, California, we highly recommend it! L’chaim!
This bold Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blend is ready to settle into the third cup with you.
Four questions to ask throughout your experience with this new, exciting wine…
What are the underlying tones supporting its deep ruby coloring?
How does smell affect what we taste?
How should I evaluate its finish — medium? long?
Isn’t wine exciting?!
Yarden Sparkling Rosé
I WILL TAKE YOU AS MY PEOPLE
It’s time to celebrate, let the fourth cup lift you up!
Four questions to ask throughout your experience with this new, exciting wine…
Do I love sparkling wine, or what!?
Once past the carbonation, what aromas and flavors are present in the glass?
How do I classify the bubbles? Fine? Big? Frothy?
Why am I not trying more sparkling wines?!
